Daisy Doodle Cookies!

Time to make the Daisies!
I found some pretty ribbon at Walmart
a couple of months ago.
I've been wanting to turn them into cookies ever since.
Sometimes, things I envision do not turn out as I'd like them to.
Yes, my *daisies* are a little wonky...
but I still think they're cute and...
I love the colors!
I'm a little hooked on colored dough..so today we're going with green..again!
 I use a non-stick rolling pin.
 .........................................
Some of the stuff I use.
I mix my royal icing with colors in my trusty Campbell's soup mugs. I use a butter knife to mix them..i feel that I'm stirring in less air, which means less air bubbles to surface on your cookie.. I may have learned this years ago in a Wilton class.
I use these icing bottles to *flood* my cookies..I really need to buy some new ones with the upgraded nozzles. I also prefer disposable icing bags.
( I really hate dislike washing them)

Add egg, flavoring and color, mixing well.
Scrape down sides of bowl, and then another quick mix.
Gradually add flour mixture on low till combined.
Chill dough.
Bake @ 350 10-12 minutes.
.................................................
Royal Icing
4 cups 10 x sugar
4 tablespoons meringue powder
6 tablespoons warm water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon light corn syrup
.................................
Cover your mixer bowl with a damp towel.
Mix dry ingredients on low.
Add water, flavor & corn syrup. Mix on low
7-10 minutes till you have stiff peaks.
For *flood* icing slowly stir in small amounts
of water until you achieve a glue-like consistency.
