Luke 2:10-11 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD.

Chocolate Chip Orange M&M Cookies Dipped In Chocolate

CHOCOLATE CHIP ORANGE M&M COOKIES DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE!
How delicious do these sound?
A couple of weeks ago, I talked about Christmas stockings, and how when we were kids, Mom (who LOVES orange and chocolate) and Daddy always put an orange or tangerine in ours. To me, that citrus scent IS Christmas! So..when I was in Walmart a few weeks ago, and I found these Orange M&Ms, I knew I had to make M&M cookies. Earlier this year I made Raspberry M&M cookies
and Pistachio Chocolate Chip Pecan Coconut M&M Cookie Cups. I kinda like M&Ms!
So today, I asked my sweet hubby and father-in-law to taste test these.
They both loved them..like I said, they're sweet!
You know it's gonna be yummy when you start with brown sugar!
 Pretty~Sunny~Yellow..Eggs!
Milk Chocolate Orange M&Ms
  Bake these @ 350 for 10-12 minutes.
You can eat them plain....
Chocolate Chip Orange M&M Cookies Recipe
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter softened ( I use salted..I LOVE salt!)
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
2 large eggs
1 bag (9.9 oz) milk chocolate orange M&Ms
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
With mixer, beat butter, sugars and flavorings till creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Gradually mix in flour mixture, blending well.
Stir in M&Ms and chocolate chips. Chill dough. Bake @ 350 10-12 minutes. ( I always use parchment paper) Let cookies cool completely. Melt your favorite dipping chocolate. Now, DIP SOME COOKIES!
*Tip* I always have a little chocolate left over when I'm dipping. I take advantage of this to dip anything I have in the pantry..just for fun. Today I dipped some roasted and salted cashews..Yummmmm!

Holly Jolly Ranchers Christmas Lollipops

Merry Christmas Holly Jolly Ranchers Lollipops!
~Easy Homemade Lollipops~
It's a sweet day over here @ Sugartown Sweets. I'm melting candies..AGAIN! I guess it's one of my favorite sugar crafts, because earlier this year, I made these and these! I also made a Spring version of today's Christmas lollipops. My baby sister loves the lollies with the Jelly Belly Jelly Beans..such sugary yumminess. These pops are great for a really last minute party treat. You can have these ready to eat in 10 minutes, with only 7 minutes baking time. Now that's what I call a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Upon removing from oven, immediately insert lollipop stick, twisting it to fully cover with melted candy, then place candies and gently press into lollipop. Voila..instant sweetness!

I used Wilton Christmas light sprinkles for this one..love!

These take a few more minutes to make..but they're so cute!

I baked these a minute longer to completely melt into a circle. Haha..i really liked these!

Peppermint & Eggnog Mustache Lollipops!

Happy 12.12.12 Everybody!
It's Christmas party season, and with me at the tail end of the mustache craze (that's just how i roll!), I thought it would be fun to use these seasonal Wilton candy melts.
Two great flavors~ Peppermint & Eggnog..separately of course!
Merry Christmas!

I had a bit of a hard time finding my mustache mold..so my sweet hubby took me to Cake Art. You can place an order online, but I wanted mine yesterday!
One word! Delicious!
I used red & white paper straws instead of lollipop sticks..so cute!
(I used the green & white straws for the eggnog lollipops)
Melt candy melts, pour into molds, insert lollipop stick and chill in frig to set candy. Prop the end of the straw to make sure it stays straight in candy. I used the handle of a knife.
 ...and so tasty too!
Yummy! Don't you just love the holidays? So many sweet treats to eat..and wear!
